National Workshop on Expertising Network Infrastructure and Administration Concepts for the Academic Fraternity (ENIAC)

Presence of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) tools and techniques has just revolutionized the methods of education. Traditional and conventional teaching methods have to be revamped to the fast changing scenarios in the contemporary educational sector. Easy access and affordable availability to the Internet opened new methods of education such as Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Leave alone professionals, people of all walks of life have to have a minimum know-how of a networked infrastructure for better utilization of the facilities available at their finger tips.

ENIAC is a UGC sponsored National Workshop on Expertising Network Infrastructure and Administration Concepts for the Academic Fraternity organized by the Department of Computer Science, Farook College (Autonomous) with a broad objective of empowering participants with the basic information of building a network infrastructure on their own.

The event is also planned as a platform for bringing together researchers, professionals, experts, academicians, students and industry to promote Research and Development activities in Computer Science. The tentative date of the event is 10-12 March 2016.

CALL FOR PAPERS

Original research contributions, not so far communicated / published / presented elsewhere, are invited from professionals, academician, researchers and students in the areas like (but not limited to) E-Learning, VLE, ICT and Learning Management Systems (LMS), Networking, Computational Intelligence, Image Processing, Soft Computing, Speech and Signal Processing, Cryptography and Network security, Mobile Computing and Wireless Networking, Date Science and Intelligent web, Data Intensive Computing, Networks and Communication Technologies, Software Engineering, Soft Computing, Bio informatics, Management Information Systems, Big Data, Semantic Web, Data Mining and Pattern Recognition.

Schedule for the submission of papers is as follows:

  • Submission of full paper: 20th February 2016
  • Notification of Acceptance: 25th February 2016
  • Last Date of Registration: 1st March 2016
  • Camera Ready Paper: 1st March 2016

Authors are requested to prepare and submit their full papers not exceeding 8 pages, typed on one side of A4 size paper as per IEEE Conference style double column format. Your contributions are expected to reach by 20h of February 2016 in the mail id: eniac15@farookcollege.ac.in OR eniac1516@gmail.com, as a MS Word file. All papers will be subjected to a review process for acceptance. All accepted papers will be published in the workshop proceedings with ISBN number.

We request you to kindly circulate the information among the faculty members and students (research, postgraduate and graduate) of your department and institution and encourage them to prepare manuscripts for the submission to the conference.
